Prism Community

The Prism Community will primarily operate on Discord.

The Future of HR

No single HR department can service 100 million freelancers - it is both impractical and forbiddingly costly. We believe that Discord offers a great starting point for peer-to-peer support, which will be key for the massive scaling of the freelancer workforce.

We have already seen successful community models, like uberpeople.com, where passionate users take the initiative to share their wisdom/best practices with newer entrants. A community of peers is, hopefully, more approachable, empathetic, and helpful in addressing issues unique to freelancers than traditional HR, which typically has a firm's best interest at heart.

In addition to general support, the Prism Community will also handle Dispute Resolution in an effort to maintain an effective platform. Participants will be rewarded for their contribution.
